DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY

2017 – Hitek was founded and operated by the first 5 employees as freelancers. At this time, the members all participated part-time and had their own jobs at famous software companies. The first projects were mostly developed for individual customers in Vietnam.
2018 – Received the first software project in Korea. This was the first step and motivated the whole team to transform, change the business strategy to build the necessary skill sets when working with foreign customers. From here, the company determined that in the long term, it would work with foreign markets to increase profit margins from projects. In addition, all of the group's activities were also changed based on the general strategy. These include: recruiting personnel (only accepting personnel who can communicate in English), researching technologies that foreign markets often require, learning about legal and electronic contracts, transferring money from abroad to Vietnam, etc.
2019 – 2020 – In early 2019, Hitek's total staff increased to 10 full-time members. We started to register for a business license and moved to a more professional office. During this 2-year period, more than 90% of the company's projects came from the Korean market. The forms of communication about Hitek in foreign markets are increasingly polished and more meticulous. To facilitate contract negotiations and processing of invoices and documents for customer companies, Hitek recruited a native Korean (living in Seoul, Korea) as a representative and transaction officer.
2021 – Present – Since 2020, Hitek's projects have not only stopped at the Korean and Vietnamese markets. The company has begun to receive more diverse contracts from customers in the US, Canada, and Germany. The goal is to diversify project sources instead of focusing on 90% projects from Korea as in the 2019-2020 period. This will help minimize risks when there is a force majeure event in the Korean market (such as the Covid19 pandemic in Korea). At the current stage, Hitek expects to end 2021 with 30 employees and expand to at least 50 employees in 2022.
Hitek Group's vision is to become a multi-industry company with a technology core. Therefore, from 2022, we aim to establish subsidiaries operating in fields other than software export.
